An anonymized string (hash) from your email may be sent to Gravatar (Privacy Policy). Upon comment approval, your profile picture becomes public within context.

Media: Avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) as visitors can download and extract that information

Comment Cookies: Optional opt-in to save name, email, and site info for 1 year.

Session Cookies: Temporary cookies check browser support and clear when closed. Login cookies last 2 days (or 2 weeks with “Remember Me”). Screen settings persist for 1 year.

Embedded Content: Articles may include embedded media (videos, images). These third parties may collect data, use cookies, and track interactions as if you visited their platform directly.

Data Transfers: Password reset requests will include your IP address in the email. Comments may be routed through automated spam detection services.

Retention: Comments and metadata are kept indefinitely for automatic follow-up approval. Registered user profiles store provided info indefinitely; users can view, edit, or delete personal data anytime (except usernames).

Your Rights: Account holders or commenters can request an exported file of their personal data or request deletion (excluding administrative, legal, or security records).
